It's a clear gel and very thin. At first, it felt strange, and I thought about it, but it burned, and it was supposed to soothe. I only just read that it's a cooling mask. I highly recommend it. It soothed redness and left my skin feeling wonderfully moisturized. I highly recommend it. I'll buy it again.
